Emotional photo project “Invisible Children”

Rania Matar
Woman photographer Rania Matar is from Lebanon. She left the country in 1984, moving to the United States of America. She had to become an architect, but was carried away by photography.

Rania makes only thematic photo series. One of the most powerful emotionally is the Invisible Children project. Its focus is on Syrian and Palestinian refugee children. Basically, they temporarily live in several Lebanese cities and refugee camps. The photographer says that she faced the problem much earlier than the international media started to say: “Because of their childish skepticism and fear, it’s very difficult to get any information. Nevertheless, children’s carelessness sits in everyone, and the children go to the contact.”
